ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (ARAI CLASS)
The Primary Education Center (Anganwadi Centre AWC) is organized into Kindergarten to create a neighborhood atmosphere.This center starts its operation from the year 1982. This AWC covers a population of 1000. It nurtures young children as they use their curiosity to explore the world around them. Free Midday Meal was provided there. The Mid-day Meal Scheme involves provision of lunch free of cost to school-children on all working days.The Anganwadi Code of this Kendra is 050. It also act as a child day care centre. Anganwadi is a government sponsored program for Naduvoorkarai Child-Care and Mother-Care development under Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) in Mondaikadu Town Panchayat, Kurundancode block of Kanyakumari District. ICDS is a program that primarily deals with eradicating malnutrition among children, providing preschool education, primary health care etc. in Tamil Nadu, India. ICDS team comprises of Naduvoorkarai AWC Workers, Helpers, Supervisors, Child Development Project Officers and Kanyakumari District Programme Officers. The Anganwadi worker and helper are the primary elements of ICDS who run this Tamil Nadu Anganwadi Centre at Naduvoorkarai Mondaicadu Post and implement the ICDS schemes.

GOVERNMENT PRIMARY HEALTH CENTRE:
Government Primary Health Centre, Naduvoorkarai is located in Cheramangalam village. The PHCs are established and maintained by the State Governments under the Minimum Needs Program (MNP) and Basic Minimum Services Program (BMS). The basic objective of the Health and Medical Department is to provide accessible, affordable and acceptable health care in rural and urban areas.
